Taking good care of your body and mind can make a difference in how well you do in school and how well you manage change. Exercising, eating right, getting enough rest and relaxing, and seeking medical care when necessary, will help you do better, enjoy school more and improve how you deal with life's challenges.
Please consider having the following ready BEFORE a medical emergency:
- Copy of insurance card
- Personal medical information
- Copy of prescription information
- Health care plan (e.g. where do I go if I need to see a doctor, what are after-hours options etc.)
- Have a basic first aid kit on hand (see here for ideas for what to include)
