What is Critical Thinking?

Critical thinking is an important skill for students in all disciplines and lays a solid foundation for success. According to the philosophy department at the University of Hong Kong, "Critical thinking is the ability to think clearly and rationally about what to do or what to believe. It includes the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking".
